Dr.-Ing. Martin Wolpers

Dr.-Ing. Martin Wolpers is researcher at the L3S since 2001 after receiving his PhD from the department of electrical engineering and information technology at the University of Hannover. He has a strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, elearning and multimedia technology. His current research interests focus on schema-based peer-to-peernetworks, technology enhanced learning, information systems, semantic web, adaptive hypermedia systems and knowledge management.

He is the project manager of several projects:
  • PADLR - international project "Personalized Access to Distributed Learning Repositories" carried outin the Wallenberg Global Learning Network (WGLN).
  • PROLEARN - international EU/IST project "Network of Excellence in Professional Learning"
