Dr. Yassin REKIK

Dr. Yassin REKIK was born in 1973. He obtained his PhD in Computer Sciences in 2001 from the Department of Computer Science at the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland (EPFL). He is currently Senior Research Associate at the Automatic Control Lab at EPFL and Professor at the University of Applied Science HE-ARC, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

Dr. Yassin Rekik has worked in the field of New Learning Technologies for almost 10 years. He has been involved in several national and international projects (MEDIT, ClassRoom2000, eMersion, Mentor, and ProLearn) and has contributed to the development, deployment, and evaluation of multiple Authoring Tools and LMS (MEDIT, Tele-Laboratory, Course designer, emersion, eJournal).

Dr. Yassin Rekik’s research work is currently focusing on Web-Based Real-Time experimentation, Web-Based Collaborative Learning, and Flexible Learning for Mobile Communities.
