How to get here

By air

The closest international airport is the Ljubljana Airport – Brnik, 36 km from Bled.  There are daily flights to and from all major European cities.

Organised transportation

Local organisers will provide for the summer school participants organised transport from Ljubljana airport to Bled on 3rd and 4th of June, and from Bled to Ljubljana airport on 9th and 10th of June.

Public transportation

If you prefer to go from the airport to Bled by public bus, you will have to change buses as there is no direct connection. First you have to travel to Kranj (the drive lasts for 15 minutes and the tickets can be bought on  the bus), and from there on all the way to Bled (the drive lasts for 40 minutes). The taxi from the airport to Bled costs approximately 35 EUR (the ride takes about half an hour). Bus schedule at Bled bus station is available here.

By train

The nearest train station is Lesce (Lesce Bled), 4 km away from Bled.
