Dr. Ebba Thora Hvannberg

Dr. Ebba Thora Hvannberg is an associate professor in the Computer Science Department, University of Iceland. Dr. Hvannberg has a B.S. in computer science from the University of Iceland, and an M.S. and a Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York. Her research areas include human computer interaction, software science, distributed systems, multimedia, and formal methods. She has participated in a number of international and Icelandic research projects. She has been an active member of the research community by publishing papers, reviewing proposals and papers. Dr. Hvannberg has several administrative duties including being a board member of three companies, as well as research and educational programs.
