France Henri

France Henri has a Ph. D. degree in Educational Technology. She is professor at the Télé-université of Quebec in the  Science and Technology department. She has authored several distance education courses and, over the years, she has developed a solid background in pedagogical engineering and in the use of learning technologies. Her main research interests include collaborative learning, virtual communities, pedagogical engineering of virtual learning environments as well as the pedagogical uses of computer mediated communication. She is the author of two books on distance education and collaborative learning, several book chapters and articles.
