The project TeLLNet is to study the eTwinning network (currently over 86 000 teachers) through visualisation techniques, Social Network Analysis (SNA) and prospective scenario building exercises. Using these techniques, the goals is to dentify the main structures, actors, networks and Communities of practice that are effective in sharing practices, encouraging innovation and creativity at schools.
In the other words, we want to better understand why some teachers get the "eTwinning" virus and are able to spread it around - and others not. Note that by "eTwinning virus" we actually mean a positive virus!
Funding Organisation: European Commission
Funding Programme: Lifelong Learning, Key Activity 4
Programme Start Date: 01/12/2009
Duration (months): 36
Project coordinator: European Schoolnet
