PROLEARN LOMI Seminar Series

This series of seminars focuses on Learning Objects, Metadata and Interoperability. On a roughly bi-weekly basis over flashmeeting a web based video conferencing service, we are discussing research work in the LOMI area. The basic intent is to facilitate exchange of opinions, ideas, plans and results on the overall theme of learning objects, metadata and interoperability. The intended audience includes PhD. students, their supervisors, researchers, etc. The sessions are quite flexible. A typical scenario would be a brief introductory presentation, to set the context, 30 minutes of focused discussion and 30 minutes of more general exchange of news.

ROLE Showcase Platform

This ROLE Showcase Platform displays the software created in the ROLE research project. ROLE stands for Responsive Open Learning Environments and seeks to put learners in the position to build their own technology enhanced learning environment based on their needs and preferences.

AERCS - Academic Event Recommender system for Computer Scientists

AERCS is a visualization tool for communities of academic event in Computer Science. It is developed and hosted by the Chair of Information System , RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Currently, co-authorship network of conferences and series from DBLP dataset are visualized. Other data sets will be intergrated in the future.
